"The Sensual World" 2018-Present

This collection of drawings and paintings were created purely out of love for painting. They serve as documentation of the evolution of my style over time, guided by the principle of allowing my art to develop naturally. Creating paintings is the way I connect with the world around me. This approach focuses on the experience of creating, with an emphasis on the connections between my sensory experience and the act of creating

In landscapes, I desire to connect with the natural world and to capture the essence of my surroundings through art.  Experience is noticing how a simple breeze can generate the sound of rustling leaves on branches, while simultaneously releasing the scent of blooming flowers and pines, their movement shaking the shadows cast on the ground.

By allowing my art to develop naturally over time, I’m able to create works that reflect own unique perspective and relationship to the world. Through the act of painting, I am both a participant in and a conduit for creation, connecting with the fundamental forces that shape our world.
