The Anthropocene, 2018-2019

fantastical take on the dystopian future, where humans live in underwater domes. Incorporating elements of Colombian folk music and imagery, this series imagines what aspects of a culture can survive in the distant future, and how dying customs can make a resurgence.  Inspired by four folk songs from the Caribbean region of Colombia, the story explores customs, rituals, and life while grappling with the looming presence of climate change.
