Birthday Skies

​

This series of artworks are inspired by photos the Hubble telescope captured of the cosmos.  Since the Hubble telescope captures images everyday, there’s an image for everyones birthday.  Using this tool, I painted these images to honor the birthdays of my loved ones by connecting the day they arrived on Earth to the skies. Through this project, my aim is to explore the beauty of existence, the intricate details and colors of  galaxies, and to contemplate the vast mystery of the universe.
